Regina Animal Bylaw Under Review – Your Voice Matters

The City of Regina is currently reviewing The Regina Animal Bylaw. As part of the process, the City has invited individuals, rescues, and businesses in the pet industry to take part in a consultation session. While some organizations received the official letter of invitation, many others did not, we want to ensure everyone who should be part of this discussion has the opportunity to be included.

This is an important moment for the pet community. The bylaw review will shape recommendations that go before City Council, directly impacting how animals are cared for, protected, and regulated in Regina.

We strongly encourage you to attend the upcoming consultation session and share your experiences, concerns, and recommendations. Every perspective - whether a small business, or an industry professional, adds valuable insight that can guide meaningful change.
