Smack’s story starts with our beloved family dog, Zorro. When Zorro was diagnosed with cancer, our family rallied to do everything we could to help him. With backgrounds in biochemistry, food engineering, and holistic medicine, our family handcrafted nutrient-packed meals to maximize Zorro’s quality of life as he battled the disease. While Zorro eventually succumbed to cancer, our family discovered a new passion for helping pets live better lives and an innovative way to do it.

Every recipe is made with a short list of the world’s best GMO-free, organic superfood ingredients without any fillers. Our meats are prepared bone-in, with organs, and are raised without the use of hormones, antibiotics, drugs, or preservatives.
